The Bengals have signed WR Kendric Pryor to the practice squad.

This transaction took place last week, when there was a lot of shuffling going on, following Joe Burrow’s injury. Of course, Brett Rypien had been promoted to the roster, while Mike White and Sean Clifford were added to the practice squad. With both Maema Njongmeta and Isaiah Williams being poached away by other teams, it left a spot open for Pryor.

Pryor had been with the Bengals this offseason. It is his second stint with the team, after initially signing as an undrafted free agent in 2022. The team lost him on waivers during final cuts of his rookie season, but he returned in 2023 after signing with the practice squad.

The WR has spent most of his time since then with the Bengals. His preseason was solid enough, but he ended up behind other depth guys like Mitchell Tinsley and Williams. For a brief few weeks, he was left unsigned. But with Williams off to the Jets, a spot opened up, and the Bengals decided to bring him back into the mix.
