Bengals Sign CB Jalen Davis to Reserve/Future Contract

The Bengals have signed CB Jalen Davis to a reserve/future deal.

Davis first joined the Bengals back in 2020, part way through the season, when he was signed to the practice squad. The next year, he made the team as a regular, becoming a key special teamer, and a depth guy at the slot CB position.

Over the next couple of seasons, Davis brought value to the defence, proving to be a valuable fill-in when needed. However, with some younger players added to the roster, 2024 saw him land back on the practice squad.

Davis had appeared in 52 regular season games for the Bengals, up to this point. He managed to rack up 17 tackles, 2 pass breakups, a forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries.

After his practice squad contract expired at the conclusion of last season, he wasn’t immediately signed to a future deal, even though many others were. But now, it looks as though Davis will get another chance to crack the roster.
