Former Bengals P Kevin Huber has announced his retirement from the NFL.
Huber spent his entire college and pro career in Cincinnati, first playing for the Bearcats, before being drafted by the Bengals in the 5th round of the 2009 draft.
In his prime, Huber was among the best at pinning teams deep in their own zone, thanks to his ability as a directional punter. His play was recognized league wide when he was a Pro Bowl selection in 2014.
This past season, Huber was replaced part way through with Drue Chrisman. But even after getting cut, the Bengals retained him on the practice squad for the rest of the season and through the playoffs.
Huber finishes his 14 year career with 216 games played, the most in Bengals franchise history, to date. He also finishes 1011 punts, which at the moment, is also the most in team history.
