The Bengals have announced that former OT Wilie Anderson and former WR Isaac Curtis will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honour. The two will join Paul Brown, Anthony Muñoz, Ken Anderson, and Ken Riley, who were inducted last year.
Anderson was selected by the Bengals with the 10th overall selection in the 1996 NFL Draft. He played with the Bengals from 1996-2007, before a one year stint with the Baltimore Ravens. Anderson is widely regarded as the Bengals best RT in team history, and one of the best in the league during his playing years.
Curtis was selected by the Bengals with the 15th overall selection in the 1973 NFL Draft. His career spanned from 1973-1984, all of which was spent with the Bengals. Over the course of his career, Curtis accumulated 416 receptions, 7101 yards, and 53 TD’s.
The ceremony is set to take place on September 29, 2022. It will be during halftime of the Bengals Thursday Night Football matchup against the Miami Dolphins in week 4.
