Week 17 Injury Report: Bengals vs Broncos

The Bengals will be getting a much needed boost to their OL, via the return of LT Orlando Brown. Brown has missed the past 3 games, and 6 of the last 7 due to a fibula injury. With his return, Cody Ford will be shifting from LT to LG, sending Cordell Volson to the bench.

The bad news is that Sheldon Rankins will miss another game, as he continues to deal with an illness. He has been out for an extended period, and it is not known when he will be back. Sam Hubbard has also been ruled out for a second straight game. But this is not surprising, as his injury was thought to be season ending. But since he hasn’t been placed on IR at this point, perhaps the Bengals think he can return earlier than expected. Tanner Hudson, meanwhile, is listed as doubtful.

Looking at the Broncos injury report, this is about as clean as I’ve ever seen one, especially deep into the month of December. They don’t have anyone in jeopardy of missing, and are entering week 17 with a clean bill of health.
