The Bengals will again be missing multiple starters, excluding ones already on IR. DT Sheldon Rankins will be missing another game, as he continues to deal with an illness. Orlando Brown is also out. Brown returned from injury last week, but there seems to be an ongoing issue with his fibula. Ja’Marr Chase was limited on Thursday, but did not receive a designation after getting in two full sessions to close out the week. Charlie Jones is questionable.
As well, the Bengals placed LB Logan Wilson on IR, and reports are suggesting that his season is over. Wilson was dealing with a knee injury, and recently had a surgical procedure done to clean that up. It does not sound like anything overly serious, but in a lost season, it would make sense to see the Bengals shut him down for week 18 (when he would be eligible to return), even if he is close to being ready at that point. Akeem Davis-Gaither should continue to be his primary replacement.
For the Cowboys, they will be without starting G Zack Martin. S Juanyeh Thomas has also been ruled out. Star WR CeeDee Lamb will play, despite not getting in a full session this week. Jake Ferguson, Tyler Guyton, and former Bengal, Nick Vigil, are all questionable.
