Bengals football is officially back, as they are set to host the Minnesota Vikings in their season opener. On Friday, each team released their final injury report.

Bengals:

– Did not participate in practice:

CB, Trae Waynes (Hamstring)

– Full participation in practice:

C, Trey Hill (Hip)

TE, Mitchell Wilcox (Concussion)

– OUT

CB, Trae Waynes (Hamstring)

The Bengals are dealing with very little at the moment, when it comes to the injury bug. Trey Hill and Mitchell Wilcox were both listed on this week’s injury report but their statuses for the game were not in jeopardy, as both participated fully in each practice. Trae Waynes was the only Bengal to miss practice. He has been declared out, but we have known for a while that he would miss at least a week or two.

Vikings:

– Did not participate in practice:

LB, Anthony Barr (Knee)

– Limited participation in practice:

OT, Christian Darrisaw (Groin)

– Full participation in practice:

TE, Tyler Conklin (Hamstring)

RB, Alexander Mattison (Ribs)

WR, Dede Westbrook (Knee)

S, Josh Metellus (Ankle)

– OUT

LB, Anthony Barr (Knee)

OT, Christian Darrisaw (Groin)

The Vikings had a few more names pop up on the injury report than the Bengals did. Conklin, Mattison, Westbrook, and Metellus all participated fully in practice, and seem to be good to go for Sunday. Rookie 1st round pick Christian Darrisaw has been ruled out by the Vikings, as has LB Anthony Barr.

Barr will be missed by that Vikings defence, as he is not only one of their better defensive players, but a big leader on that team.
