The Bengals have made another addition to the roster, in the form of WR Reece Horn. Horn, 28, has bounced around in quite a few leagues. He has spent training camps with the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins. Moreover, he has played in Europe, the AAF, XFL, and Spring League.
The 6’3″, 222 lbs wideout has yet to appear in a regular season game, and will look to stand out in a very crowded Bengals WR room.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has announced that DE Wyatt Hubert has suffered a torn pectoral. This comes after he was placed on the NFI list on Monday. Like Hakeem Adeniji, who also tore his pectoral earlier in the offseason, he is expected to miss the entire season.
Hubert was drafted in the 7th round of this year’s draft, and there was hope that he could provide some depth value for the Bengals. He will now have to wait a year to get his chance.
A ring of honour has long been something being called for by many Bengals fans. It was announced earlier in the offseason that the fans will finally be getting their wish.
The team started out with two names that would be inducted into the ring of honour. Those names are Paul Brown, the team’s founder and first coach/GM, and Anthony Muñoz, a Hall of Fame OT and arguably the Bengals best player in franchise history.
It was then determined that two more names, to be determined by fan vote, would also be added this year.
Those names, we have now learned, are Ken Anderson, one of the best QB’s in franchise history, and CB Ken Riley, who is tied for 5th in most interceptions in NFL history.
These four Bengal greats will be honoured in their week 4 Thursday Night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
