The New York Giants have signed former Bengals G Lucas Patrick to a 1 year deal.
Patrick was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2016. After spending most of 2023 and 2024 as a starter with the Bears and Saints, respectively, he signed a free agent deal with the Bengals in 2025.
His reputation for being generally reliable was a welcomed addition to a Bengals offensive line unit that largely had struggled up to that point. Patrick won the RG job out of camp, but an injury soon derailed his season. By the time he returned, Dalton Risner had established himself as the starter at RG, after Jalen Rivers unsuccessfully got a chance to claim the spot.
Entering this offseason, there was some talk of the possibility of bringing back Patrick to serve as a backup along the interior. However, that never came to fruition, and he will instead look to get his career back on track in New York.
