For the first time since 2022, the Bengals will have a new addition to their uniform.
The team has announced that orange pants will be debuted this season. The new pants were leaked on Madden, and brought to light by a Tweet wondering out loud if they were real.
Soon after, the Bengals confirmed that the rumours were, in fact, true.
Orange pants have long been a desire of many Bengals fans. The orange jersey on orange pants combination is talked about frequently. However, there are several possibilities, especially when including the possibility of mixing and matching socks, as well.
In addition to orange on orange, I would be interested in seeing white on orange, which would give the away jerseys a nice touch, especially since orange has been lacking from the road set, ever since the new uniforms debuted in 2021. Black on orange also would look nice.
The whole plan for these new orange pants isn’t known yet, but the Bengals have announced at least one date for them; week 16 at home to the Cleveland Browns.
In that game, it seems as though the orange pants will go with the black jersey.
UPDATE:
The Bengals have also announced that they will wear orange on orange in week 1 against the New England Patriots.
