The Bengals have officially announced the two new players that will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honour this season. Former RB Corey Dillon and DT Tim Krumrie are set to make it in, after a fan vote was conducted by the team.

Dillon, despite a sour end to his Bengals tenure, makes it in as the franchise leader in carries and rushing yards. For the 1997 2nd round pick, 1,865 carries for 8,061 yards and 45 TD’s is certainly impressive, especially since it was an era of Bengals football that didn’t exactly have a lot of success.

Although the relationship between the former player and the team has been rocky at times, Dillion has said that he is happy to be getting in, and that the honour means a lot to him.

Krumrie was originally a 10th round pick of the Bengals in 1983. With that in mind, it is crazy to think that he played 12 years in the NFL, all with the Bengals.

Longevity wasn’t the only thing that Krumrie accomplished in his career. He became known for his hard-nosed playing style, making a couple of Pro Bowls and being voted as a first team All-Pro in 1988.
