The Bengals started off their day 2 by selecting CB DJ Turner out of Michigan with the 60th overall pick.
Below is my pre-draft write up on him:

Current starter Chidobe Awuzie is coming off a torn ACL, and is on a contract year, so it marks sense that the Bengals are staying prepared, just as they did last year for Bates’ departure, by selecting Daxton Hill.
The Bengals also had a 3rd round pick, which they traded to Kansas City to move down 3 spots and gain an extra 6th round pick. With the 95th overall pick, they selected S Jordan Battle.
Below is my pre-draft write up on Battle:

Vonn Bell, meanwhile, looks like he is being replaced by Jordan Battle. When Nick Scott was signed, most thought he was the replacement. But in reality, the Bengals have committed a relatively small amount to him over the next few years, meaning that there was room for them to add someone else, if they though he was a fit.
