The Bengals have signed LB Joe Giles-Harris to a 1 year deal.
Giles-Harris first joined the team last season, having spent 1 game on the practice squad before being poached away by the Jaguars.
He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jaguars in 2019, and has bounced around a little bit, also spending time with the Bills and Patriots. Playing in 22 games thus far into his career, the 28 year old has managed to rack up 30 total tackles and a sack.
Given the need for additional depth at the position, this move makes sense. He has experience on defence and on special teams, which should allow him to compete for a spot on the team. The Bengals may still add to the position in the draft, but they at least enter with a little more competition at the position, and give themselves a bit more flexibility.
