The Bengals have signed DT Domenique Davis off of the practice squad to the active roster.
This move is in response to the season ending injury suffered by DJ Reader. Although the Bengals did already add to the position by claiming Travis Bell off waivers from the Falcons, they seemingly wanted more, perhaps adding Davis due to his familiarity with the system.
Davis first joined the Bengals during the 2022 offseason. He spent most of that season on the practice squad, with brief stints on the roster, where he contributed 2 tackles. He had spent the entire 2023 season on the practice squad, but will now get a chance to make an impact.
