The Bengals have signed DE Isaiah Thomas to the practice squad.
This is actually his second stint on the team’s practice squad. Thomas first joined the Bengals in this capacity at the end of August. However, he was later poached away by the Detroit Lions. In Detroit, Thomas appeared in 2 games, before later being released from their practice squad.
In other practice squad news, DT Justin Rogers has been poached away by the Dallas Cowboys.
Rogers is a rookie 7th round pick of the Cowboys. The Bengals first signed him to the practice squad in August after he was waived by the Cowboys during final cuts. A NT prospect, he is someone that seemed to have some potential, and it is somewhat surprising that he was never given a chance, considering the struggles the Bengals have had at the position. In any event, Rogers will now return to the team that drafted him.
