With the 28th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select DE Myles Murphy.
Murphy was my 2nd rated DE in this class, and joins a position group in Cincinnati that includes Trey Hendrickson, Sam Hubbard, and Joseph Ossai.

This is a good pick for the Bengals. Though he still has some kinks to iron out, his power and athleticism gives them something that they can work with early on. Going back to last year, the pass rush was underwhelming, especially in the playoffs, so injecting high-end talent to address the issue makes a lot of sense.
