The Bengals have re-signed WR Kendric Pryor and RB Kendall Milton.
Both spent last season with the Bengals on the practice squad. While roster players on an expiring deal are set to become free agents in March, practice squad players become free agents once their team’s season is concluded, either at the end of the regular season or after a playoff loss. Both ended it on the practice squad, meaning that they were free to sign elsewhere, but decided to remain in Cincinnati.
Pryor first joined the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2022. They tried to sneak him on the practice squad after an impressive preseason, but he was claimed off waivers by the Jaguars. Part-way through the 2023 season, he ended up back in Cincinnati, and has been on the practice squad ever since. In 2024, he made 1 catch for 9 yards after being elevated for a game.
Milton, meanwhile, was originally signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2024. He was cut later that summer and joined the Bengals practice squad, before some brief stints on the roster. In 2025. Milton again was able to earn a spot on the practice squad.
Both players will be camp bodies when the time rolls around. While a good showing can open the door to a roster spot, it is more likely that they will be fighting for spots on the practice squad.
