The Bengals have re-signed LB Joe Bachie and LS Cal Adomitis.
Bachie originally joined the Bengals during the offseason in 2021. He was claimed off waivers from the Eagles. In his 3 seasons with the Bengals. Bachie has made 2 starts in 35 appearances. He has been a solid depth player, holding his own when needed on defence, while also establishing himself as a core special teamer. With the draft a bit more than a week away, retaining Bachie as a depth player will now give the Bengals a bit more flexibility in the mid rounds.
Adomitis, meanwhile, was originally signed by the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He actually started out on the practice squad, but was quickly called up to the roster after Clark Harris suffered a season ending injury in week 1 of that season. Adomitis hasn’t looked back since claiming the starting spot, and has given the Bengals consistency at the position, with no bad snaps up to this point.
