The Bengals have placed TE Erick All on the active/PUP list. They have also placed C Seth McLaughlin on the active/NFI list.
As was reported earlier in the offseason, All is expected to miss the entire 2025 season. He suffered a torn ACL last year, and complications from a previous ACL tear led to the need of a second surgery, which added on to his recovery timeline.
All had been establishing himself as a useful piece of the offence, contributing as both a pass catcher and a blocker. The injury was an unfortunate development, and makes his future outlook muddy. Given that he is on the active list, he can technically be activated at any point in the offseason. If left on it once the season starts, he’ll be required to miss at least 4 games. Though, again, it would be a surprise if he plays at all.
McLaughlin is a rookie UDFA signing. His college season ended prematurely last year after he tore his Achilles. This possibly contributed to him going undrafted. He is on the NFI list, which is where players are placed for injuries that happened outside of the NFL.
The rules for the NFI list are like those for the PUP list. He can be activated during camp, but would miss at least 4 games if he isn’t activated before the start of the season. McLaughlin will miss the start of training camp, but there seems to be a decent chance that he can be activated at some point, as he looks to compete for a spot. If not, he could end up redshirting his rookie season for the Bengals as an injury stash.
