The Bengals have placed LS Clark Harris on IR, and have signed LS Cal Adomitis off of the practice squad in a corresponding move.

Harris suffered a torn biceps in the season opener against the Steelers, leading to a series of catastrophic events for the Bengals. His injury forced 3rd string TE Mitchell Wilcox into the game. The unit as a whole was thrown off, leading to a missed extra point and a missed field goal in OT. Both would have been game winners.

With Harris going on IR, he will miss a minimum of 4 games, per the rules, but will be out a lot longer due to the nature of the injury.

Adomitis was signed by the Bengals as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. The rookie was battling with Harris in the offseason, but the team opted to stick with the vet. Adomitis was solid in the preseason, and will now be thrown into the fire with big shoes to fill.
