The Bengals have claimed CB Marco Wilson off IR from the New England Patriots.
Wilson was originally a 4th round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2021. The Cardinals released him in December of last year, and he was claimed by the Patriots the next day. In his career up to this point, he has appeared in 54 games while making 174 total tackles, 19 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles.
The addition of Wilson comes after the team placed CB DJ Turner on IR.
Turned is believed to have suffered a fractured clavicle on a nice pass breakup he made on Sunday Night. It is likely that he is out for the year, which explains the addition of another CB through waivers.
The Bengals made a third transaction on Thursday, signing RB Kendall Milton back to the practice squad.
Milton had been on the practice squad for the first half of the season before being signed to the roster after Zack Moss went on IR. He was recently waived, however, to make room for Cam Grandy on the roster. Milton then cleared waivers and will remain in the organization.
